Occupational Health Immunisations

We do not provide occupational health services at this practice. If you require blood tests and immunisations for occupational reasons (employed or self-employed), or because you are a healthcare student, then these are the responsibility of your employer, yourself or your medical school.

Hepatitis B

Patients at risk because of their lifestyle or their travel plans can be immunised at no charge.

Adult immunisation – by appointment

Tetanus and polio vaccinations are available from the practice nurses. These should be updated every 10 years.

Influenza vaccination is available each autumn and is recommended for all those over 65 or for patients of all ages who have heart disease, asthma or diabetes. Select the non-NHS tab for advice on occupational vaccinations and reports.

Well baby clinic drop-in

Weekly on Tuesdays 09.30 to 11.30

Parents and children up to 5 years old are welcome to attend for general advice. Developmental assessment appointments are arranged separately. Children who are unwell should be seen in normal surgery hours. Please book an appointment if your baby or child needs an immunisation. For babies under 18 months old you can book an appointment with the practice nurse on Tuesday mornings, at the same time as the baby clinic.

Cervical smears

Cervical smears can be arranged for women of any age (either with a practice nurse, doctor (female if preferred) and are particularly advised for women between the ages of 25 and 64 years, at three year intervals.

Diabetic clinic

All patients with diabetes are invited to an annual appointment for a review of their diabetes. Advice and regular check-ups are also available by appointment with the practice nurses or a doctor.

Family planning

Family planning appointments are available with the Practice Nurses. Please contact the practice to make these appointments.

Wart clinic (Cryoclinic)

Monthly – First Monday afternoon. This clinic is for the treatment of warts and verrucas. Please ask your doctor to refer you. Patients may not self-refer.

Breast Screening

The West of London Breast Screening Service is part of the NHS Breast Screening Programme. They provide services to women registered with GPs in Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.

Hospital Appointments

If your doctor refers you to a hospital for specialist advice please either keep or cancel your appointment. If you have to cancel a hospital appointment please contact the hospital to arrange a new one as soon as possible or the doctor may have to make a new referral.
